Is Sungarden Preschool a day care center or home based program?

Sungarden Preschool (SGP) is a quality home based early childhood program, located in Decatur, GA.

What is the philosophy of SGP?

Sungarden Preschool’s curriculum is inspired by Waldorf Education and Lifeways North America. (See Links Below)

What are the ages of the children?

18 months — 4 ½ years of age

How many children per day?

6 children

How many days a week is SGP?

Three days a week

What are the days and hours for SGP?

Days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Hours: 8:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m

Is there a waiting list? If so, how do I get on it?

As soon as SGP is filled for the coming year, a waiting list is started. To get on the waiting list, email Sara, and she will contact you.

What is the tuition of Sungarden Preschool?

Tuition details available upon request.

Is Sungarden Preschool a registered and licensed program?

Yes. SGP is a registered Family Day Care Home, with Bright From the Start, Georgia’s governing branch for early childhood programs. SGP is also licensed with The City of Decatur, GA.

What do children eat at SGP?

A variety of wholesome, mostly organic and gluten free foods: whole grains, fruits, and vegetables. The SGP menu is happily provided upon request.

Do you make accommodations for children with food sensitivities or allergies?

SGP is experienced with food sensitivities and allergies and is happy to converse with any parent about their child’s nutritional needs.
